Let’s talk nails

November 3, 2008

Hello ladies who actually read this blog… Thanks to a friend of mine I have been using Kiss glue on nails for the past couple of monthes and I couldn’t be happier. I have very thin nails and hair and it is hard sometimes to go al-natural. So personally like to have fake nails. They make me feel much more feminin and together. For the longest time I was having acrilics applied. I was spending about $30 a pop on the nails and not to mention having to get a fill once every week or two… This was nice but not necessary.

My frind Heather told me about Kiss glue on nails, you can buy them at any CVS or major drug store. A box of 34 nails and glue is $6, and it will last you a couple of weeks. You want to change the nails about every 7 days but it is okay because you have extras and they will last you a little while.

That’s it for now. I will talk about how to get a nice even nail application next time.

Thanks for reading

August 1, 2008

Kuna Clay has added two new clays to the mix.

We now offer Cuna Clay Café which is on the site now.

We added Kuna Clay Velvet, a darker and stronger clay for oily skin.

And now we have a red, green and brow agae that is being mixed into the clays adding sea minerals to the already pure mineral makeup of the Kuna Clay.

What’s up with Kuna Clay

August 1, 2008

There have been a lot of recent developments. If you by any chance were in Hollywood last weekend for the ACHD benefit at the Cabanna Club on Ivar then you would have received a sample of Kuna Clay in your gift bag…
If you are planning on booking a personal jet through the company Exec-Jet any time soon then you will have the option of getting an in flight facial with Kuna Clay… That would be nice wouldn’t it? A privat jet with an in flight facial.

Just a few of the interesting things that Kuna Clay is doing lately.

Products I like to use:

June 16, 2008

I use my product Kuna Clay at least once a week. Using the Kuna Clay will keep your skin clean by drawing out the dirt and blemishes. It also smoothes lines will help with any dark spots from sun exposure.

Like I said in an earier blog, I like the Cetaphil basic moisturizer for everyday use. It is thick but wont clog your pores and you can use it morning and night.

I love Bumble and Bumble products. You can’t really go wrong with any of them, although the thickening conditioner may leave your hair a little ’straw like’.

Another product that I have been using regularly for monthes is Skineffects instant deep wrinkle eraser. You need to apply two or three times daily but it does work. It is not a permanent solution the product is used like a daily application of lipstick. You can get it now at all or most CVS drugstores.

Side Note: I really like the CVS beauty section they have just started. They keep someone on staff to talk to you about all their higher end beauty products, we like that.

That’s all for now…until next time.

Healthy skin

June 5, 2008

I want to add to my previous list that a started in my last blog. There are a few tips I have picked up through the years and here are my top skin health tips:

Drink lots of water every day. Cleanse from the inside out.

Moisturize every morning and night, use a light moisturizer that won’t clog your pores and won’t weigh your skin down. I like to use a basic Cetaphil moisturizing cream (the one that comes in the jar)

Always use sunscreen and stay out of the sun as much as possible. I find this hard for me, I live in Southern Cali and grew up at the beach, being in the sun is something I love. I try to wear a big hat to cover my face at least if I know I am going to be out in the sun.

One little thing I noticed too is when I sleep I like to sleep on my stomach with the right side of my face on the pillow. Try to avoid sleeping on your face, it will contort your face and create lines on your skin through the years. It’s easier said than done though because you are sleeping… just try to roll onto your back whenever you find yourself on your stomach.

That’s it for today. Until tomorrow friends.
